How we make money, in plain language.

The short version

KnightingDrop is a reader-supported affiliate marketplace. When you click a "Get this deal" link and make a qualifying purchase on a partner merchant's site, that merchant may pay us a small commission. Your price is unchanged — commissions come from the merchant, not from you.

Who our partners are

Our catalog is powered by a verified partner merchant network specialising in digital game keys. We participate in partner programs with licensed digital marketplaces. Sales made through KnightingDrop may earn us a commission, which is how we keep the site running and free to use.

Why we disclose this

Affiliate disclosure is required by the U.S. FTC's Endorsement Guides, similar rules in the EU and UK, and — more importantly — basic honesty. You deserve to know how we make money so you can weigh our recommendations with clear context.

What is and isn't affiliated

• All outbound deal links are affiliate links. They use rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" and are labeled near the call-to-action on every product page.
• Some links are not affiliated — for example, internal navigation, this policy page, or references to publisher / platform homepages for context. These are never labeled as affiliate links.
• Editorial content is never paid-for placement. Our default sort is "Best deal," which ranks by actual discount percentage regardless of commission rate. If we ever run explicitly sponsored content, it will be clearly labeled as such.

How commissions work

When you complete a purchase through KnightingDrop, our partner network attributes the sale to us via a short-lived referral session (typically 30 days). We earn a commission on qualifying sales — usually a low-single-digit percentage of the order value. We are never paid by individual publishers or game developers.

How this affects our recommendations

It doesn't — and we've built the site to keep it that way:

• We list offers based on their value to readers, not commission rate. "Best deal" ranks by the actual percentage off.
• We only surface products that meet our trust standards: verified sellers with Buyer Protection eligibility.
• We remove partners who fail to deliver — even when they pay well.
• We run Vercel's privacy-respecting first-party analytics (no cross-site ad tracking) purely to understand which pages help readers, not to follow you around the web.
